Antoon Melissen is an independent curator and author of books, articles and catalogue texts, with an emphasis on post-war Dutch art in an international context. Recent publications include monographs on the Dutch artists Armando (2015), Jan Schoonhoven (2016) and Jan Henderikse (2018), and catalogue texts for the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam/Museum Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, and David Zwirner Gallery, New York, among others.
